    Fun program, great results, more intensive than it claims
    This program is awesome! A few things should be noted though: a) workouts take longer than 24 minutes! That’s the time for the actual HIIT circuits, but there is also a 10 minute warm up and 10 minute cool down routine. b) you’re expected to work out 5 days a week, not 3. Thursdays are cardio of your choice and they recommend “active recovery” on Tuesdays and weekends. This is a proven way to protect your body from injury and soreness, just know that the “3 days a week” selling point is a lie. c) it is not as beginner-friendly as it claims- do not hesitate to do the 4 week pre-training at the beginning of the book! I’m a relatively healthy, active, and fit 28 year old and thought I didn’t need it- I was wrong.That said, I’m on week 3 of the regular program and am already seeing results despite not changing my diet. I’m not always able to complete workouts fully due to knee issues, but even doing some incomplete workouts has changed how I look and feel. Exercises are simple and easy to follow and there are descriptions of each move in the back of the book if the workout page is not clear enough. You can also find all of the exercises on youtube if you need further instruction. Workouts can be HARD and I’m usually pretty sore after, but I have so much more energy and am excited to work out for the first time in my life! The book is visually engaging and easy to use, and workouts are varied enough that I imagine you could go through it multiple times without getting bored.As others have mentioned, you could easily find all of this on pinterest or youtube, but having it planned out for you is really helpful for people like me who don’t know much about fitness and don’t have time or motivation to search for exercises and formulate a plan. All the figurative legwork is done for you so you can focus on the literal legwork!

    Just do it.
    After reading many reviews and trying many programs, I finally caved and ordered this. Before this I was trying to attend regular classes at my gym, but with a schedule that changes constantly (both for work and secondary to being an avid traveler), I needed something I could do on my own time. This program got me to wake up at 4am to squeeze in a workout before a 7am flight. This workout made it possible for me to stick with something despite traveling to multiple cities in the past month. This workout is NOT easy. I am not overweight nor did I think i was particularly out of shape… and this workout really is work. I did the 4-week pretraining and am now on week 3 of the actual program with no intention of quitting. Do I love it? God no. I wouldn’t say I’ve fallen in love with exercise like so many of the reviews I’ve read. But I am beyond excited to have finally stuck with something… and to be able to see definition in my abs, a slightly thinner waist, and a marked improvement in my stamina and upper body strength. If you’re on the fence, just do it already. Stop sweating the money. It’s a one-time fee (not a subscription) and may finally be your golden ticket to a healthier you.PS when I travel, I take a picture of the workout(s) needed so I don’t have to bring the book 😉

    Awesome, difficult workout that is so much fun!
    This is HARD exercises but it is SO MUCH FUN that you’ll be smiling when you’re groaning on the floor from exertion. I am a heavier girl myself and I have to modify some of the exercises (I cannot do half burpees to save my life). Even with modifications, it is still a lot of fun and I can definitely feel it working.There is also a great Facebook community you can join for support in doing this. It is a very positive experience and I highly recommend joining if you are a bodyboss gal already or thinking about becoming one.I will admit that I hate exercising but this was so challenging and with the intervals it doesn’t feel as awful as slogging multiple miles on the treadmill without going anywhere. It is great because you need minimal equipment (a box jump – you can find them on amazon or you can use stuff around your house – the book explains and you will need a bench but you can use chairs and other things). I highly recommend buying a timer for the exercise.Overall, this is super fun and I would definitely say it is worth the price. You will feel it when you’re doing it (and a few days after) but the results are worth it.

    I like the layout. Seems like it will be effective.
    I just received this, so I haven’t completed the program yet. It is a 12 week program with an included additional 4 week “pre-training” program for those who are out of shape (make no mistake, the “pre-training” is still challenging), for a total of 16 weeks to complete PT and the actual program. You do book workouts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and your own light workout/cardio (ex. Light jogging, a bike ride, swimming, or yoga) on “rest days” which are Tuesdays and Thursdays. No weekend workouts. I do like the layout as far as the way they outline each workout and provide pictures of each exercise/move/stretch. The instructions are pretty clear and easy to understand. I like the spiral binding and the thick pages, the book seems pretty durable.I did the first day of pre-training yesterday (because I am very out of shape), and man, it kicked my butt. I felt like I was going to puke by the end and I could barely finish, but it was doable and I felt great an hour later. Today I am pretty sore, but not miserable. It is definitely a good workout and I am sure I will see results if I can stick to the program. Will update my review when I finish the program.Just an aside, I wish there was nutrition component to this program that was included with the book and not a separate purchase because exercise and sensible eating go hand in hand.

    Ma quanto sono belli i libri fitness in inglese?Ho acquistato sia questo che Kayla e sono pieni di belle foto, colore e impaginazione super cool!Altro che i nostri libriccini fitness su carta riciclata, senza foto e senza nemmeno l’immagine di un esercizio!Il libro è davvero ben fatto e spiega per filo e per segno gli esercizi, senza se e senza ma.Comodo il formato a spirale che permette di tenere aperto il libro le prime volte che si svolgono gli esercizi.Molto soddisfatta!

    Great exercise book and a supportive online community. Step by step and at your own pace. I have felt the difference in fitness in 4 weeks, can’t wait tilo finish and start again.

    Loving the Bodyboss system so far! I just finished the 3rd week of pre-training today and I am always looking forward to the next workout. I noticed improvements already! I can do the workouts literally anywhere so there is no excuses to not get the workouts done. I also find that this program is realistic for everyone as it gives you the week-ends off and keeps it short, making it manageable in everyday’s life.
