Decent jump ropes for casual activities, individually wrapped
I liked that the jump ropes all came individually wrapped. I ordered these for a youth group event but didn’t need to use all of them, so the little wrappings will help keep the new ones looking very new until they are handed out. They didn’t kink up too much and we didn’t have any major issues. The weight seems sufficient to keep good jumping rhythm.

Very nice for the money!
I ordered a pack of these and rushed out to try one as soon as they arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised.I’ve been jumping rope consistently, often daily, for 40+ years. I’ve tried just about every kind of jumprope there is and have found the cheap ones work as well, for me as the expensive ones. Yes there are differences in the ropes, I just haven’t found the differences to have much effect on the quality of my workouts. YMMV. These ropes seem sturdy, work fine and the price is great. There are 2 things that cause me concern:1. I just received the rope and don’t have any idea how long it will last. It seems well made. I’ve owned a few of these plastic ropes at various prices and these seem about as tough as any. If you’re jumping on a very rough surface, they may not last long. It shouldn’t be a big problem on a gym floor, carpet, or smooth concrete.Edit: I’ve had these ropes for 4 months now. I jump rope every day mostly on a pergo deck, but I have jumped a few times on rough concrete when traveling. I’m still using the first rope out of the box and I don’t see any obvious signs of wear on it. I feel like the one question I had about the ropes longevity has been answered. They hold up very well under normal usage.2. The ropes are short-ish. I’m ~5′ 10.5″ tall and they’re the perfect length for me out of the box without trimming. If I were much taller, the length might be a problem.All-in-all I’m pleased with my purchase and would recommend these.

LOVE the price for this!
The current price for a pack of 14 of these (just under $21) was something I was VERY happy about! It’s a lot of jump ropes and they are VERY easy to modify for height. It took me about 2 minutes maybe (total) to cut the size for height for my 9yo and then have it ready to go again. (see pic of cut ends.) And it worked perfectly! (There are directions on the product page that show you how to do this simple process.)There are 3 different colors in a quite glossy flexible PVC material. LOVE the look of it. They all have black handles. I kept the extra pieces that I had cut off to do crafts with – goodness knows I will find a use for them at some point! They’re quite pretty (to me).As far as usage goes, my kid had a blast once the rope was a convenient size for her. It worked great! A set this size – of this many jump ropes – in my opinion would probably be best to use with exercise classes or physical education classes. I LOVE how easy they are to modify to individuals based on their height so it works well almost no matter what height person you’re fixing it for.Overall I really liked this set – the quality, the convenience of how easy they are to modify, and the price. Highly recommend!

Easy to Adjust & Use
I’m using this set of jump ropes with the wrestling team that I coach. From light weights to heavier weights, the wrestlers’ heights vary significantly. I like that there are 3 colors in the pack. I kept one color at full length for my taller wrestlers. I shortened another color for my medium height wrestlers, and I shortened the third color further for my shorter wrestlers.The ropes rotate well, and are a little more forgiving that the wire speed rope I have at home.My attached pic shows the mechanism used to adjust the length of a rope. Push the rope into the handle, and the black plastic compression fitting will emerge. It separates by pushing the outer sleeve back toward the handle, exposing the insert with tabs that grab onto the rope. Each individual piece (handle, sleeve, insert) slide easily along the rope. Once you have pulled the amount of excess rope through the 3 pieces, hold the ‘insert’ while sliding the sleeve over it to lock it in place on the rope. Cut the excess rope, then slide the handle over the compression fitting.Regarding rope length, I use the method of standing upright on the rope with one foot holding the rope to the ground. I hold the rope so that the base of one handle is at the bottom of my pectoral. I mark the rope where the other end meets my other pectoral. I adjust the position of the handle (see prior paragraph) so that the bottom of both handles are now at the bottom of each pectoral while holding the center of the rope to the ground under ONE foot.
