Let’s face it. Family meal planning is not a job for the faint-of-heart. From choosing the meals, figuring out your shopping list, braving the supermarket (probably with kids in tow!), loading and unloading the groceries a couple of times, and organizing the pantry — it ain’t easy! Anything you can use to help yourself organize this endeavor is worth it — and for me, this notepad is it! I used to post meals for the week on a whiteboard on the fridge, after growing weary of hearing, “Mom, what’s for dinner?” all the time. (Hmmm….come to think of it, they still kept asking me that question, despite the menu being posted for all to see. Clearly, my “what’s for dinner” board was about as useful as my “Please don’t put dirty dishes in the sink!” sign. — I should post pictures of all the dirty dishes stacked neatly NEXT to the sink.)I digress.The truth is, the posted “meal plan” is really for me. And if I’m being honest, my meal plans RARELY go according to plan. Sometimes I need to switch dinners around, sometimes the family gets leftovers/cereal/whatever-they-can-find, and sometimes we end up eating out. Still, it helps my week feel less crazy when I have a plan, even if I don’t always stick to the plan.So, why do I love THIS “Meal Planner Pad” in particular? I just received this planner. I am very happy with the quality. I believe it will pay for itself in the money I will save on groceries. The cost of food makes it vital to plan. Just planning the main protein for this coming week feels empowering. Placing items on the attached shopping list as they run low will also help. I’m sure I’ve tossed way over the cost of this planner in the last month. Less waste also helps me do my part for the environment. Lastly, the magnets let’s me put the list on the frig where I will actually use it!

Geat quality
Have not been using this long but love it so far. This really helps with keeping my shopping list organized. The paper is thick enough that ink does not bleed through to the other side or into the next page. The magnets hold the pad securely to my refrigerator. I would recommend this product.

Cute and usable
I love that these pages have a perforated portion so you can pull off the list. What I do not like is after it was on the fridge for about a week, the whole pad of paper ripped off the cardboard back. The magnets did not fail, but the glue holding the weight of the pad did. We superglued it back on and it’s OK, but not the same.

I love this menu/grocery list tablet so much, I’m on my second one. The paper has a nice heft to it and there’s plenty of room for a complicated menu and an extensive grocery list. It also makes a great gift!

I love this so much. Found it through one of those lists of things you need and it was just such a neat idea I had to try it. Definitely would recommend! I always buy ingredients and then forget what I planned on making. Not anymore! I even write a note on there where I have the recipe saved so I can refer back to it when ready.

Lets face it, we’ve all done that one shop where you spend £50 on groceries, get home and realize there isn’t a single meal to make amongst all the ingredients! I like to plan, I like to know what I am eating when, and how long its going to take to make. I have used many of these types of planners in the past. This one has a really good magnetic strip meaning it can be stored firmly on the fridge without falling off. It is a good size so you could fit several meals into each box if you wanted to plan an entire weeks meals and not just dinner. I also like that the shopping list half is perforated meaning you can tear it off and take it with you without messing up the half that has your meals on. Very good design and once it is used up I see no reason why I wont repurchase the same one.
