Can’t recommend for my OT patients
The button to open and close the grasping mechanism and eject soiled wipes/TP is extremely difficult to press, required two hands for me to do, and I have pretty good hand strength. Recommend toilet tongs, or if hand coordination/strength is an issue and you cannot reach well, look into adding a bidet to your toilet or using a portable bidet bottle. Better yet, ask your doctor for occupational therapy so you can get a personalized recommendation based on your own challenges and environment at home.

Nice and ergonomic device to wipe your bottom
This bottom wiping tool works good at helping wipe my bottom without straining myself. The tool has silicone material that is easy to clean if it gets dirty, the shape of the device makes it easy to reach my bottom easily and the silicone handle is also soft and comfortable feel. The one negative that I have about this device is that the ability to push the button on the handle to discard the toilet paper didn’t work for me. The paper did not release from the tool and I had to manually tear the paper to get it off the tool. All in all this tool would have been useful but its inability to release the toilet paper after wiping was not ideal to me.

Reaches far
Reaches really far. Other reviews indicate trouble with the toilet paper gripper, but I can’t speak to that. I use it to apply medicated cream farther back, and it works great for that.

Never thought I’d need something like this. But then suddenly I do.
Who knew something like this even existed? Not me. Until I unexpectedly incurred a shoulder injury. And guess what, suddenly there became a need for a tool like this. It’s not anything glamorous or snazzy, but it does what it needs to do. It takes a little bit to get used to as far as logistics goes but that’s to be expected. I’m still kind of hit and miss getting the paper to “eject” after use on the first attempt but getting there. If used properly, the business end of this tool doesn’t touch any body part. So while there’s technically no need to fully immerse into water to clean it, I kind of wish that were a viable option. But it is not. It says for maximum hygiene to clean after each use but do not immerse it in water. An inconvenience I have is that I don’t know where or how to store this in between use. Not that this is the concern of the manufacturer but it is something to consider for your own personal situation.Never say never. You may wonder who would need something like this and then suddenly it may be you.
