Got the version w the straw top seems pretty good. No leaks when filled it up. It deff can be stored super compact. It does come with an extra strap for storage or carrying around. I didn’t notice a smell like others did but I rinsed it w soap n hot water regardless prior to use.

I absolutely loved how easy this bottle is to open and fill. The collapsible feature is super convenient—I used it for the first time on a Disney trip, and it made carrying it around a breeze. The color-change feature is a great touch too, as it lets you know at a glance when it’s time for a refill. My only downside is that it feels a little flimsy, even when full. But overall, it’s a solid, practical bottle that I’ll definitely continue using!

Great travel water bottle
This water bottle was so helpful in the airport. I had it folded up and then just filled it in the airport after security since in the US you can’t have water or liquids above 3.4 ounces. It seems like it is a little flimsy and would leak, but never did. It helped that it was silicone because it went in the pocket of my airplane seat and wasn’t so rigid. I have used this a lot since I got it. It is easy to clean as well. If you want something that packs away easy and holds your water, buy this. I loved it came in a two pack so my husband and I could both have one.

Buyer Beware! These are Prone to Leaking.
Bought two bottles to take on vacation. We liked the collapsible design but unfortunately one of the bottles leaked and got the contents of the backpack wet. The bottle leaks at the interface between the silicone bottle and the plastic lid. Even after insuring the lid was on straight, the bottle still leaked. After reading other reviews, it doesn’t appear this is an isolated issue. I encourage anyone who decides to purchase these bottles to test them immediately to make sure they don’t leak.

This collapsible water bottle is such a great idea. I need to have water with me when I walk but I hate carrying a heavy metal water bottle. This folds in on itself and has little straps to hold it when it’s small. The cap screws off easily and it’s the perfect size when filled up for a steady walk. The army green colour is neutral but not boring. I really like it.

Water bottles come in all kinds of designs with different purposes or objectives (beyond carrying water that is). This one’s purpose is to shrink to minimal dimensions when empty and not in use. It is a soft silicone material The screw on lid seals tightly. A soft straw is included which pokes up thru a hole in the lid. A narrow hinged flap will pinch down the sipping end of the straw and the flap snaps tightly in place to hold it.The collapsing means is quite interesting. Instead of the usual bellows style approach with a cylindrical body, this bottle is a square cross section with segments that have a diagonal fold line down the side. One twists the segment and it collapses inward and shortens up. There are 3 segments for the entire bottle. The straw does not have to be removed… it just (presumably) ends up getting twisted into a spiral and then closes up tight (like a slinky) as the bottle shortens. Very ingenious. The lid seals well and mostly prevents air from infiltrating, so the bottle does stay mostly collapsed (at least to start). To keep it fully collapsed and at its smallest size, there is a strong elastic band that wraps around the bottom of the bottle and hooks to the opposite side of the lid. They even include an extra band (but good luck finding where you put it later on when you need it!).The bottle is ok to clean. The rectangular shape does mean that getting right into the corners is a bit more challenging, but the ability to flex the bottle helps with that. I didn’t notice any smell or taste. It is food grade silicone. Bottle size is just over 600 mL, so a bit more than standard packaged bottles (the common 500 mL size). One does have to remain aware that this is a ‘soft’ bottle when holding it. Squeeze too much or too quickly and you potentially have a small geyser on your hands.A practical item with an intriguing collapsible design. Definitely worth checking out.
