SIZING: 8ft rope weighs 1.3lbs and is recommended for heights under 5’8″ tall. A thick 12mm diameter PVC cord creates extra drag for a quicker cardio fitness workout and forearm/shoulder burn.
GRIP STRENGTH: This style of heavy jump rope is used by Muay Thai fighters to build grip strength and muscle endurance for grappling. Designed to engage the core, back, shoulder and arms that don’t normally get a workout.

    Very Difficult
    If you want an extremely difficult workout that feels and requires different things from any speed rope or traditional jump rope, get this.It will destroy your grip strength and forearms, and your shoulders will feel it too, while demanding more overall cardio at the same time.With a normal speed rope or basic jump rope you’re basically just jumping in place to a timed rhythm, which is excellent for cardio, lower leg and foot strength, and explosive movement, but this heavy rope feels and demands entirely different levels of fitness.I could do an easy 5-round workout on my basic speed rope, I got this thing, and I was unable to do anything beyond two amateur (2-minute) rounds with this thing.Get it. If you want overall fitness, this is THE exercise to do. Condition yourself to be able to do at least 5 3-minute rounds with this rope and there will rarely be anyone who can outperform you.

    Heavy enough, durability questionable
    It seems good and long enough for me, other reviews are correct on height. I think max is about 6’2 person. However I’ve noticed middle of the cable is wearing on the concrete floor. I’m being picky where I jump. Rope is heavy enough for sure. Any more and it’s all forearms.

    This rope isn’t physically heavy. The difficulty comes from the thickness of the rope, creating incredible wind resistance, making it very difficult to maintain a pace. This engages upper body a lot more than standard jump ropes, and is perfect for anyone looking for a challenging rope. The size of the rope creates a much lower “swoosh” sound, and you will feel the weight as you try to pick up the speed. It’s like running with a parachute.You’re definitely going to want to jump on a soft pad. I have a rubber mat that might even be too abrasive for the rope. I might try adding some electrical tape at the point of contact to see if that extends the life.

    Ich liebe dieses Springseil. Habe für mich als ein rot und meinem Bruder eins ins blau bestellt ich finde das Springen damit sehr angenehm da der Griff in der Hand sich mitdreht. Der Griff selbst fühlt sich sehr hochwertig an und liegt wirklich prima in der Hand generell sieht das Springseil sehr hochwertig aus und fühlt sich auch sehr hochwertig an, auch geeignet für kreuzsprung und andere Sprungtechniken

    I have used heaps of high end heavy ropes for twice the price of this. This is by far the best I have used the design of the handles the weight and length are perfect. I have used this daily for at least 30min and it’s held up without issue. I’m 6’2 and the red rope was the perfect length out the packet. 10/10 this is the heavy ropeYou want

    Great quality product with a very smooth action. I was surprised how easy it was to use compared to a thinner faster rope. I tried this for the first time today and the upper body workout is evident. I am 5’8″ and bought the 9ft rope. It seemed a bit long for me so I shortened it by unscrewing the retaining bolt in the handle, pulling out the rope (which also pulled out the inner sealed baring, and then trimming 4 inches off the length. Just do the reverse to reassemble. One tip is to soften the end of the rope by dipping it in boiling water in order to be able to screw the bold back into place.
