The size is perfect !
It’s super travel sized and I will be able to take this bike with me anywhere. Super excited to get started with it . I started reading the first step and how it correlates with certain Bible verses. It’s spot on! Can’t wait to read more into it !

It’s pretty good
I might have even rated it 5 stars if I wasn’t “grading on a curve!” :-)I like Neil T. Anderson’s “Overcoming Addictive Behavior” better. But Life Recovery has workbook questions included, where as the other doesn’t. I guess they’re a good pair.I did like it enough to start a small bible study using it. But we all liked the Neil T. Anderson book better. (We’re still going to finish this book, though)

The Steps with Jesus as my Higher Power!~
Recovery is hard enough all by itself. With the sponsor, the correct sponsor, it can be easier. In the 12 steps today there’s so much confusion on who or what someone’s higher power is, or can be. Bill Wilson in the chapter called how it works in the reading read at almost a every AA meeting called “How It Works”, it says these words: “There is a God who is all powerful, may you find him now.” The more we know about Bill Wilson the more we know aching about our God. But whether he was or not for me a higher power must be Jesus Christ. So with Jesus Christ as my higher power using the life recovery Bible that is a regular Bible surrounded by recovery principles taken straight out of the Bible including the 12 steps I have a great foundation to make recovery so much easier. Still with or without a sponsor I need direction and this companion workbook is excellent for guided biblical step-by-step journey through the 12 steps to find God.Where to use it by yourself, with another person, or in a group you find this book invaluable to your future recovery for yourself and for those you help of His power.
