Gorgeous fabric and stylish
The forest green fabric is luxurious in terms of shine and quality. The interior fabric is snazzy and adds a nice touch. The gold zippers add pizazz. The pockets are generally roomy and very deep, which means I have lost my phone inside this backpack and gone crazy looking everywhere for it, not realizing it had slipped to the depths. There are a few narrow pockets inside the organizer section that are really deep, but because they are so narrow, it’s hard to retrieve items that have slipped to the bottom if a person has large hands. The opposite is true for the interior pocket that is for holding an auxiliary power source (not included). This pocket needs to be deeper so that the cord can be tucked down inside and not snag on whatever is being removed. There are a few interior zip pockets. One can hold a great deal–feminine supplies and a small makeup bag.The stiff opening at the top of the computer compartment is great when you need to keep it open for inserting and removing large items; however, to sneak inside to get something quickly requires the entire zipper to be unzipped to separate the stiff edges. Also, the U-shaped zippers need dual-headed zippers, because if I forget to slide the zipper head all the way to the bottom, things fall out of the unzipped gap, and I’ve lost lip balm, gum, etc.The exterior, side, “bottle” pockets are made of fabric and not cheap mesh, which tends to snag and tear; they are sturdy and have elastic tops that stretch to accommodate larger tumblers. I also use them to hold hand sanitizer, sunglasses, etc. The luggage strap on the back is a very nice feature. I also like the hidden pocket on the back, which is deep enough to hold a checkbook and an ID lanyard. The shoulder straps are comfortably padded and smooth so that they don’t abrade wool jackets. The top handles are sturdy and useful for lifting the bag and setting it across the console in the car onto the passenger seat.This is a lovely bag, and I have yet to fill all the pockets–maybe on an upcoming trip, I’ll have more things to stash inside. As it is now, I can carry a laptop, iPad, electronic accessories, makeup bag, toiletries, pens, notebook, sunglasses, glasses cleaner, hand sanitizer, checkbook, wallet, phone, charger, cords, and I have plenty of space left over.

LOVE THIS BAG! I bought this for a weekend trip to Chicago and future travel. I’ve never been able to find a backpack I loved. Within the first moment I was using this one I realized it was absolutely perfect. It has plenty of room for a laptop, books, wallet, phone, an extra sweater or sweatshirt, headphones, charging cords, passport, water bottle, and more, with so many pocket options that make sense for storing all the little things you may need when traveling. One of my favorite features is the two straps that form a handle at the top – they are really convenient! I also love how it opens wide at the top due to its special design! I used it as a backpack throughout my journey, and in the airports, as a carry on. One way I stored it in the overhead bin above, the other way I stored it under the seat in front of me and it fits both wonderfully both ways. Once I got to the city, I used it walking and riding the trains all around the city. It was very comfortable to wear, and it didn’t make my back hot like some backpacks do. The shoulder straps have nice padding. A lot of backpacks have maybe one pocket on the inside and several on the outside. This one has SO MANY POCKET OPTIONS both inside and out! Well-thought-out pockets! Its so great! Yet the bag isn’t bulky. It opens up wide and has a bit of structure to it so you can easily find what you’re looking for. AND, it has a strap on the back so that you can slip it over the handle of your suitcase so you can have it ride your suitcase without it falling off. It is also a beautiful-looking bag, I got the tan and white (with gold accents). I am SUPER happy with this purchase. It is one of my favorite Amazon purchases ever! I know I will get a lot of use out of this bag. It works for me better than any other backpack or carry on travel bag I’ve ever used.
